QWhere do these business ideas come from?+
Every idea starts as a real post or comment on Reddit, mostly from operator-heavy subreddits such as r/smallbusiness, r/msp, r/Dentistry and r/ecommerce. We search for pain signals, keep only posts that describe a specific unsolved business problem, and then run a structured analysis on each one. Source threads are always linked so you can read the original complaint yourself.
QHow many new ideas do you publish each day?+
Between 3 and 8 ideas are published per day, depending on how much genuine signal the morning sweep turns up. We would rather publish four ideas that describe real, fundable pain than twenty that restate the same complaint in different words.
QWhat exactly is in an idea breakdown?+
Each breakdown contains the original complaint, a one-line TL;DR, the vertical, the specific target user, the pain points, what people use today as a workaround, the buildable product idea, the core value, the gap incumbents leave open, a monetization angle, a suggested price band, an urgency rating, a build-difficulty rating and a five-day validation checklist.
QIs this a list of startups to clone?+
No. Most entries describe niches that are too small for venture capital and too boring for a startup launch post, which is exactly why they stay unserved. PainRadar is built for solo founders, indie hackers and small operators who want a business that reaches profitability rather than a pitch deck.
QCan I cancel my subscription?+
Yes. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you can export or bookmark anything before then.
QHow is the 100-point opportunity score calculated?+
The score weights pain severity at 25 points, willingness to pay at 20, frequency at 15, buildability at 15, competition gap at 15 and urgency at 10. It is a screening heuristic, not a forecast — it exists to help you triage twenty ideas in five minutes.
